Physical files involved in Single instance setup & HA setup and purpose of each
Basics of AD, DNS & DHCP
List of protocols involved in generic email system and purpose of each. Few such protocols are POP3, IMAP, SMTP etc.
Step-by-step procedure to deploy single instance & HA instance MS Exchange Systems. Shall able to explain logic behind each step.
Backup & Recovery of Single & HA setup
Test recovery on sandboxing environment. Should able to explain technical understanding of how MS Exchange could be tested in different subnet network environment having different set of IP addresses.
Knowledge of atleast one backup software such as Microfocus Data Protector, VEEAM or equivalent.
Basic understanding of full backup, cumulative backup, incremental backup within the context MS Exchange
Should able to explain Son, Father & Grandfather backup plan
Have good understanding of performance monitoring and configuration.
Should able to workout RTO and RPO for both Single instance & HA instance deployments.
